About Us

The Elmwood Street Garden Swap began in the summer of 2021 with a small road-side box and a hand-made sign. Now, we're still just a small road-side box and a slightly water-logged hand-made sign!

Our goal is to share our love of plants and gardening with others, and to foster the community spirit that grows alongside our flowers, trees, veggies, and herbs!

​

If you're looking for some new plants, drop by and help yourself! Despite the name there's no swap required. All we ask is that you be courteous and respectful, and don't take anything you can't reasonably use or care for.

If you've got extra starts, surplus seeds, rooted cuttings, plants that you just can't fit, or any other gardening materials you'd like to share, just drop them off at the road-side stand! We'll do our best to take care of what's there and find everything a good home ❤️
